Food stamp program rewarded for excellence

Alabama Gov. Bob Riley and Department of Human Resources Commissioner Page Walley have announced that Alabama will receive a $1.7 million bonus from the federal government for the superior performance of Alabama's Food Stamp Program.

Riley said Alabama's program continues to be among the "most accurate and efficient" in the nation.
